Founded in 2011 by Saracens professional rugby player (then school-boy), Gareth Simpson, Rugby Recycled was born from a desire to help make rugby accessible to all, through the collection and donation of rugby kit. From the professional clubs to the grass roots, rugby should be available for everyone to play.

Rugby Recycled partnered with Scrum5 in South Africa in 2022, to facilitate kit collections in the UK for rugby teams and clubs in South Africa.
